Our partner in the Republic of North Macedonia, Magan-Mak, has received the registration for Helicovex for the use in vegetables and field crops. Helicovex is based on the Helicoverpa armigera Nucleopolyhedrovirus, a pathogen that specifically infects Helicoverpa spp. Helicoverpa larvae are a problematic pest on many different crops, from field crops to vegetables and even fruit trees. As of next year, farmers in the Republic of North Macedonia will have access to Helicovex to be used in either IPM or organic crop protection programmes, enabling them to protect and produce a healthy and safe crop.
